Event Overview

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Thomas Lee, Chief Medical Officer of Press Ganey and Editor-in-Chief of NEJM Catalyst, as our keynote speaker. A practicing internist and cardiologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dr. Lee brings decades of leadership in health care performance improvement, health policy, and patient-centered care. His newest book, Social Capital in Healthcare, introduces a powerful framework for building trust, resilience, and teamwork in organizations that focus on improving health–an approach that aligns deeply with our values of interprofessional education and collaboration.

In addition to Dr. Lee’s keynote to kick off the festivities, expect a morning full of connection and inspiration, including:

  • An engaging panel with local and national voices
  • Stories from the first decade of the CIPE
  • Interactive activities focused on leadership in teams and relationship-building
  • A forward-looking closing from Dr. Laurie McCauley, Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of Michigan
